I always worry when we choose a non-branded hotel, but in the case of the Niobrara Lodge, we got very lucky! The hotel is in lovely condition...very up-to-date, crisp and clean. The staff are super helpful. The rooms are wonderful....with high ceilings, which is very rare. The pool and hot tub are great.
We were in town for a family gathering, it rained, and rained and rained. the staff was very courteous to open their meeting room for the family to gather while waiting for the weather to clear. the room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good as well.
It's nice to walk into a motel and they are organized and know what great customer service looks like. No dumb looks or searching their computer or the desk for your reservation. Clean, Nice rooms.
Best place to stay in Valentine.
I visit Valentine numerous times per year for business and have always stayed at the Niobrara Lodge. The place is lovely. ..the rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is always hot, fresh and delicious. The staff are always helpful and friendly.
Always stay here when in the Valentine, NE area. Very clean, reasonable price, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large. Continental breakfast is adequate, similar to most hotels. VNL is comparable to most Holiday Inn Expresses and better than many other chains. I travel a lot so please take my word for it.
